Project: Fractal-Based Electrodynamic Screen
Role: Team Advisor
The student team received Second Place in the KFUPM 50K Challenge for the development of a fractal-based electrodynamic screen for dust mitigation. The project explored novel electrode geometries for improving electrodynamic particle removal, particularly for applications in photovoltaic systems operating in dusty environments.

The student team received First Prize in the Digital Health Track at the Hope Hackathon for an in-ear health monitoring system. The project investigated a compact wearable platform for physiological monitoring and digital-health applications.

Awarded Second Prize at the 1st KAUST Graduate Research Symposium, PSE Division, for the research work “Novel Wafer Thinning Processing Based on XeF₂ Etching for Flexible Electronics.” The work explored an alternative silicon thinning process aimed at enabling mechanically flexible semiconductor platforms.
